UPLOADING media TO WORDPRESS

The steps for uploading media (images/videos) to WordPress is as follows.

1. Navigate to the desired page’s dashboard.
2. Log into the WordPress system if you are not already.
3. Once on the Dashboard press “Media” in the left hand side menu bar to go to the Media screen.
4. Click the “Add New” option
   1. 
5. Click “Select Files” and navigate to the piece of media you would like to upload.
6. Click “Open” to initiate the upload.
   1. You will see a new box with a blue bar among the other uploaded files.
   2. 
   3. It is important to let this finish!
      1. Closing the page could cause the upload to fail.
      2. Once it is completely uploaded a thumbnail of the image will appear.
